Piano and Guitar
All students will learn the language of music through memorization and application. With a commitment to daily practice, the student will be able to read music, analyze any sheet music and recognize the structure of a song they hear, improv for jazz, blues, worship, or a contemporary piece.

Contemporary Vocal and Stage Coaching
Students will learn how to properly sing using classical foundations for voice. They will also learn how to sing in front of an audience and how to use a stage and microphone. This course is best for singers interested in a contemporary career or worship team leadership. If taking piano and/or guitar and voice, you will learn how to sing at the piano.

Fees are collected on or before the first lesson (first week) of the month for the entire month. If I cancel, the student doesn’t have to pay for the lesson, if the student cancels, the student still pays for the session. There are no lessons on Thanksgiving (Thursday) and the whole week of Christmas. If there is a recital, I hold them in early December. Location TBA. When recitals are held, they are in place of a lesson the week of Christmas.
Q & A
- If I go on vacation, do I still have to pay for the lesson? Yes, the student is reserving the time slot. I do prepare work for those that go on vacation or they can virtually have a lesson. We can always work on theory. If a student takes a break or goes on a long vacation and doesn’t wish to pay for the lesson they can, but I reserve the right to fill the time slot with another student, so the time slot may or may not be available when the student returns.
- Do you allow for lesson make up? I only reschedule if I have an opening or sometimes I will add to the time of the lesson for a few weeks if I have no other students after the lesson.
- How do I pay? I take checks made out to Connie Whitlock, cash, or you can pay me by Paypal to constancewhitlock@ gmail.com.
